John and Julie Wilson

Our school football oval has been named after Julie and John Wilson, to thank them for over 35 years of volunteer service to the Talgarno Primary School.

The Wilsons' continued support has helped shape the thriving rural school you see today.

John served as President of the Talgarno School Council during challenging times; working tirelessly to keep the school open, under the threat of closure, helping to rebuild student numbers.

Julie is sadly no longer with us, however, her legacy continues to flourish through the proteas she planted. The ongoing sale of her flowers supports the school community by providing valuable funds for those in need.
