Wellbeing is the foundation for every child to learn, grow and succeed.

Wellbeing

Student well-being is at the centre of everything we do. We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where every student feels valued, respected and connected to their school community.

Our approach to wellbeing aligns with the Victorian Government’s framework for student wellbeing, supporting students to develop the social, emotional and behavioural skills needed for learning and life. We promote positive relationships, resilience and a strong sense of belonging across the school.

We implement ‘The School of Play’ as part of our Respectful Relationships program, which explicitly teaches students the skills to build healthy relationships, develop emotional literacy and demonstrate respect, kindness and inclusion in all interactions.

Wellbeing is embedded across all aspects of school life, with a focus on prevention, early intervention and support. Our staff work closely with students and families to ensure individual needs are understood and supported, helping every child to feel confident, capable and ready to learn.
